For my first prewriting assignment for the Literacy Analysis Project I chose to free write. I really enjoyed this activity because I was able to get ideas out without worrying about structure, I wrote in cursive because it was faster and my ideas were able to flow without having to stop and think. This helped prepare me for the draft because it gave me a good idea of what my main point was.

For the prewriting timeline, it was a little more difficult for me. I was having trouble pin pointing and remembering some literacy moments. Although it did get me thinking about how I’ll structure my paper, I don’t think it was as beneficial as the free write. It gave me a few good ideas of some literacy moments that I can tie in with what was in my free writing.
