I’m from a small town in Massachusetts, called Upton. It’s very quiet and there isn’t a lot to do. I went to a technical high school and participated in a Health Services program where I was able to obtain my Certified Nursing Assistant. Through that program, I realized I wanted to be a nurse from interacting with all the patients during my clinical at the hospitals, nursing homes, and many different health care facilities. I chose UNE’s nursing program because it just seemed like a perfect fit for me. While I’m going through this program, I hope to further my skills in the nursing field and hopefully truly discover what specialty I’d like to go into. As of right now traveling nursing is very appealing to me. I’ve always loved traveling and was very lucky to travel abroad to Spain in the Fall of 2018. I loved seeing all the different cultures and everyday life. I feel like it would be a great profession for me to go into just because it has to do with everything I love. Traveling, taking care of others or just helping them, and seeing how different cultures and parts of the world work.
